Your Voice Will Be Heard
A story for every child who has ever felt invisible, left out, or not enough.
The heart of it
Some children carry a quiet ache that nobody sees.
The one who sits a little apart at lunch. The one who says “I’m fine” with a wobble in her voice. The one who cries after the lights go out. This book was written for her, and for the grown-ups who love her and want the right words.
In soft watercolor pages, a little girl learns that being quiet does not mean being unheard, and that feeling small does not make you any less worthy of love. It is gentle, honest, and made to be read together, more than once.
Page after page, one promise: you are not alone.

What the first families are saying
A tender book that gave my daughter words for a feeling she could not name.

We read it three nights in a row. By the end she was the one saying the promise back to me.

The story behind it
Why I wrote this for Autumn
My daughter Autumn felt invisible in a room full of people more than once, and I wanted her to have something to hold on the hard nights. So I wrote her a book. Then I realized how many other children needed to hear the same thing.
This is that book. It started with one little girl, and it is for every child who has ever felt the same.

Questions parents ask
What age is this for?
Your Voice Will Be Heard is written for children ages 4 to 12. Younger children enjoy it read aloud, and older children often read it on their own.
Is it good for a child who feels left out or anxious?
Yes. It was written specifically for children who feel invisible, left out, or not enough, and it names those feelings gently so a child feels understood rather than alone.
Is there a Kindle version?
Not yet. The book is available now in hardcover and paperback. Join the newsletter and I will let you know if a digital edition arrives.
Can schools and counselors use it?
Yes. Teachers, counselors, and social and emotional learning programs are welcome to use it. It works well for read-alouds and for one-on-one conversations with a child who is struggling.
